Student Reading Party
Inner Compass is excited to offer a special message event featuring the students of our Mediumship Mastery Program. Typically, we offer a few of these events each academic year; in 2022 we are featuring two reading parties and one message service. All of our student events are free - for this event, we do ask that everyone fill out a feedback form after each reading; the information you provide helps our students to refine their processes.
This Student Reading Party is being held in-person; there is plenty of room in the large training facility on the campus of our office, and the space will be arranged to allow for social distancing; masks will not be required. Please note that Inner Compass is operating under CDC and Ohio rules and regulations for COVID-19 - read our current policies for further details.
Each mediumship student has a reading space with a table and chairs (like at an expo, although everyone will be seated further apart). After we receive your registration, we will contact you to work out details such as your assigned arrival time, how many readings we can schedule for you, and so forth. On the day of the event, you may arrive shortly before your first reading, and we will escort you to your reader's table, where you'll receive your 10-12 minute mini-reading. Next you'll fill out a feedback form at your personal station. You may continue on in the same manner for any additional readings that we were able to schedule for you.
For our virtual participants, you will receive a Zoom meeting link for your reading. You'll simply log in to the meeting at the appointed time and your reader will conduct your reading virtually. Then you'll fill out your feedback form and email it to your reader. If you are scheduled for multiple readings, you'll follow the same procedure for each reading. This event is for people who have previously received mediumship readings, who are supportive of and patient with developing students, and who will provide positively written and constructive feedback about any readings that they receive. If you have ever been a developing medium yourself, even better, because you would understand the demands that this kind of service requires of a student. This Virtual Student Reading Party will be held online via our Zoom meeting room; please read our suggestions for setting up your home space for the best experience. Several of our students will offer individual mini-readings, and you may receive readings from more than one student.
Pre-registration is required (you can pre-register here), and start times will be staggered to ensure that we can accommodate everyone. We will send a confirmation email to you when we process your registration (this may take a couple of days); we may contact you separately if we need to work out details such as your arrival and departure times.
A day or so before the event, we will send a reminder email containing Zoom link, instructions, and so forth. Because space is limited, we do ask that you please notify us right away if your plans change or you cannot attend, so that we can fill the spot that we will have reserved for you.
On the day of the event, you may join the Zoom meeting shortly before your first reading, and your host will share any last-minute details/instructions before sending you to a Breakout Room where a student medium will conduct your first reading (the student mediums will be assigned by the host ahead of time). The host will join the Breakout Room again when it is time to return to the Main Session/another Breakout Room to fill out and turn in your Reading Feedback Form. If you have been assigned to receive multiple readings, you will continue in this manner until it is time for you to leave the event.
