What's Your Ray?

"Remember, all are potential Master timber. All in some Wheel of Life must and will take the Master Path."
Master H, through Pensatia (Helen Merrick Bond)
It was August of 2003. I was enjoying summer vacation with my family in Lily Dale, New York, and relatively new to metaphysical studies, when I signed up for a workshop on the Seven Rays. I thought the subject matter might be over my head, as I hadn’t even heard of it before reading the course description, but for some reason I felt the tug to attend.
It was intense. Five days of learning about the Rays, the Masters, the higher plan, the process of initiation, the relevance of past lives, and our paths of service. It was way over my head, and thank goodness the teacher, Sharon Anne Klingler, had a knack for translating these esoteric teachings into comprehensible ideas and practices.
It was also transformative. Synchronicities abounded, the mini-reading I received from Sharon turned out to be prophetic, and the group meditations were profound. Especially the one in which I met a Master working with the energies of the Ray having to do with my path of service.
I recall that this Master appeared to be out in the cosmos and he had a gift for me - this is how I described it in my class notes: “The ‘gift’ or symbol he gave me regarding my service was an egg. Transparent, energy, with light moving through. Exterior wasn’t physical but was surrounded by, or distinguished by, crackled edges, so I felt it was like puzzle pieces.” The egg was very large, and the Master held it so I could see that there were stars behind it.
That night, when I described the experience to my husband and saw the incredulity on his face, I responded, “I know it’s crazy! I don’t understand it either.” And we left it at that, until a week or so later when I was browsing in the metaphysical section of a local bookstore back home, and a book fell to the floor in front of me.
It was The Crack in the Cosmic Egg by Joseph Chilton Pearce. Of course I bought it! And as I have continued my studies in the years since then, I have received many more puzzle pieces from the Masters.
Whether you are new to the Seven Rays, or you want to learn how you can work with these energies, or you are simply curious to know what your Soul Ray is, I invite you to attend an introductory workshop, The Rays and the Masters, that I am leading with my office partner, Rose Vanden Eynden, next weekend (October 2015).
You’ll embark on a journey of discovery into the vast territory of the Seven Rays and the Masters who preside over them, as you begin to experience the depth of inspiration and great wisdom they want to share with you. And I look forward to participating in your transformative experiences!
