"All things that live bring gifts to you, and offer them in gratitude and gladness at your feet."
A Course in Miracles
Many of you who have been following my musings for some time know of my motto, “This came to bless me.” Sometimes I exclaim it with great enthusiasm, and at other times I ask it with some perplexity. This holiday weekend, as I write to you and my mind is filled with thoughts of all those whom I love, I do both. And this is life.
Today, I want to also share with you an excerpt from A Course in Miracles, a sacred text that inspired me for the first time many years ago:
“All things that live bring gifts to you, and offer them in gratitude and gladness at your feet. The scent of flowers is their gift to you. The waves bow down before you, and the trees extend their arms to shield you from the heat, and lay their leaves before you on the ground that you may walk in softness, while the wind sinks to a whisper round your holy head.”
What can I add to that? Very little. Love life.
